MONTH OF June

Time to integrate all the changes, Scorpio. This spring has brought so many cosmic shifts for all of us, but you were one of the signs most directly impacted. On March 23, your ruling planet Pluto changed signs for the first time since 2008. There was a lunar eclipse in Scorpio on May 5. And the karmic south node has been in Scorpio since January 2022, stirring up some deep emotions and interrupting longtime patterns in your life.

Transformation is a good thing (not to mention a fact of Scorpio life). But when you’re mid-metamorphosis, those seismic changes can be overwhelming, leaving you with a lot to process and integrate. Luckily, Gemini season is here to give you some space for that. With the Sun in your introspective and intimate eighth house until June 21, you’ve got permission to slip off the grid and do that deep inner work.

Retrograde high season begins in the second half of June as Saturn (June 17) and Neptune (June 30) join Pluto in reverse gear for the next few months. On June 11, your ruler Pluto backs out of Aquarius and into Capricorn until early next year.

Since March 23, you’ve gotten a taste of what’s to come as Pluto trekked through your domestic fourth house, previewing a 20-year cycle that begins in earnest November 2024. Your approach to home and family will be undergoing a long, slow transformation over the next two decades. If you’ve already started eyeing new properties or shifting your role in your family structure, you’ve got Pluto to thank for that.

Whew! There’s a LOT of internally focused energy afoot this June, and it could start to get a little bit heavy. Just in time, Cancer season begins on June 21, pulling you out of your cocoon and back into the wider world. As the summer solstice arrives, you’ll be ready to come out and shine too. Until July 22, you’ll host the Sun in your ninth house of travel, optimism and adventure. A round of that sounds like just what you need now. Enjoy!

It’s Gemini season until June 21

Intensity is your jam, Scorpio, so why pretend otherwise? With the Sun in Gemini and your scintillating eighth house—the zodiac zone that’s governed by Scorpio—you’ll be in your element until June 21. Dive deep into researching, plotting and enjoying your obsession du jour. Untangle any knotty emotional or financial issues—your own or someone else’s. Just make sure that your new unofficial role of therapist doesn’t distract you from your own duties. It will be all too easy to tumble down rabbit holes this month!

With expansive Jupiter in Taurus and your partnership house, one of your connections could get extra official, whether for business or romance. Stay alert for promising opportunities to combine your superpowers with someone whose skills and objective are a perfect complement to your own.

A money moment at the June 3 Sagittarius full moon

Bring on the abundance! On June 3, the year’s only Sagittarius full moon will spotlight your second house of income and prosperity, helping you settle a financial issue that’s been on your mind this year. If you’ve been toiling away toward a goal, you could finally get your payout! Thinking of asking for a raise or moving on from a job you no longer love? These moonbeams light the way for you to take a bold risk. If you’re looking to kick a bad habit, you’ve got celestial support today.

Pluto retrograde backs into Capricorn on June 11

Words can be irrevocable, Scorpio, so are you choosing yours with care? You’ll have a chance to look deeply into that for the rest of the year as Pluto backs into Capricorn and your communication house. Shadowy Pluto, your ruling planet and the guardian of transformation and the unconscious, has been retrograde since May 1, when it began its backward slide through Aquarius and your domestic fourth house. On June 11, Pluto will slip back into Capricorn for the rest of the retrograde, staying in your communication sector until January 21, 2024. Next year, Pluto will volley between Capricorn and Aquarius, finally settling into Aquarius for a 20-year run in November 2024.

With penetrating Pluto in the most expressive and interactive zone of your chart, you may finally find the courage to initiate a long-overdue conversation topic that you’ve been wanting to have. Don’t shy away from the realness, Scorpio. Talking about the nitty-gritty (and even uncomfortable) stuff can unmask crucial information and guide you to your next steps.

Pay attention to your thoughts and intuition, and tune in to divine guidance. If you feel excitement and high energy swirling around you when you work on a project or talk to someone, keep exploring this path. If a plan is moving too quickly, slow down and evaluate your next moves before leaping in.

During this reflective time, you might return to school for some certifications or new skills. The best way to stay relevant is by keeping your knowledge up-to-date—so sharpen those tools!

Saturn turns retrograde in Pisces on June 17

While mature Saturn is retrograde from June 17 to November 4, take a step back from situations that are fraught with drama. You might have second thoughts about a romance or decide to step away from a project that’s become too all-consuming. Since retrogrades rule the past, you could dust off an old creative venture or hear from an ex. In mythology, Saturn was also known as Cronus, the god of chronological time—and in this case, timing may just be the key to everything. If the stars didn’t align on your first try, perhaps you’ll give someone a second chance. But proceed with caution, Scorpio.

If you work in a creative field, this Saturn backspin can be a great time to hunker down and finish a project. Could your passion use some polish? Work with a mentor, producer or pro in your field. Take a class or get some extra training—or just carve out dedicated time for your craft. With Saturn retrograde, you’ve got to put in those ten thousand hours, which is how long writer Malcolm Gladwell suggests it takes to achieve mastery at anything. But give yourself breaks, and don’t forget to make it fun!

The Gemini new moon is on June 18

Sync your superpowers! The June 18 Gemini new moon activates your intimate eighth house and kicks off a new chapter around your closest bonds and mergers. From a joint business venture to a sexy soulmate connection, your focus will be on “power coupling” today.

Between now and the corresponding Gemini full moon on November 27, a collaboration could crescendo. Enjoy the passionate meeting of the minds, hearts and/or souls, but do all the digging you need if you’re not ready to make things official, especially since gullible Neptune is at odds with la luna, obscuring some of the important facts.

Take your time to explore the possibilities of a permanent merger and ensure that everyone’s most important needs will be satisfied. Think of the next six months as an energetic engagement period before you put a (literal or symbolic) ring on it. If the chemistry and connection are really right, your due diligence will be rewarded.

Father’s Day is June 18 in the U.S., and this new moon offers an opportunity to refresh your bond with your dad or a father figure in your life. Keep the celebrations intimate if you’re hosting; if there’s a big gathering, make an appearance but know that you might be feeling a bit more private and insular today. Either find a task to keep you busy or connect with a few trusted people for meaningful one-on-one conversations. The one thing you WON’T be in the mood for today is small talk…not that you ever are, really!

Summer solstice! Cancer season starts June 21

Positive vibes: incoming! Get ready for a burst of optimism once Cancer season kicks off on June 21 and the Sun starts its four-week voyage through the sign of the Crab, heating up your worldly and adventurous ninth house. Once your wanderlust kicks in, take some vacation days, exploring new curiosities through travel, workshops and learning. Got an idea for an independent business or side hustle? Play with a few possibilities. This is your month to branch out—you never really know what your options are until you take a risk and try.

Cancer season begins at the summer solstice, when the Sun reaches its peak height in the northern hemisphere and appears to “stand still” for three days. That’s all well and good for el Sol, but nothing will slow you down during Cancer season. Sure, we’ve got a couple retrogrades, but you won’t let those stand in your way, nor should you!

Mars-Uranus square June 25

Balancing the demands of your career against the pressure of your relationships is a challenge you can’t avoid in the last few days of the month, when hotheaded Mars and Uranus bump into each other in a challenging square. Intensifying Mars is blazing through Leo and your ambitious tenth house until July 10, bringing long hours, short deadlines and, at moments, even shorter tempers.

So you won’t be happy when someone you considered an ally throws you a curveball this Jclass="body-el-link standard-body-el-link" une 25. That day, Mars gets snared in a heated square with volatile Uranus, which is in your partnership zone. You may not see eye-to-eye with a key collaborator, or relationship drama could distract you from your mission. As much as you WANT to power through to the finish line, you’ll need to be adaptable and open to new perspectives, even ones you hadn’t considered. That doesn’t have to mean scrapping all your hard work and starting over—but if it does come down to that, Scorpio, consider it. In some cases, it might be better to cut your losses and do this right than to force the wrong plan out the door just because you’ve invested time and energy into it.

Neptune turns retrograde June 30

Starting June 30, Neptune will join Saturn in its retrograde backtrack through Pisces and your fifth house of love and self-expression. While Neptune’s awry until December 6, a smooth-talking ex could resurface, or you might have second thoughts about a love interest. For couples, compassionate Neptune won’t be as available to help you smooth over conflict with sweet talk and denial—a blessing in disguise perhaps.

Watch for passive-aggressive people who stir up drama then act innocent, making YOU feel like it’s your fault (the official term is “gaslighting”). Distance yourself from divas and attention seekers who drain your energy this summer—and if you find you don’t miss them, maintain that healthy space after Neptune turns direct. You don’t have to clean up their messes, Scorpio. With codependent Neptune in “sleep” mode, this is your chance to let others be accountable for their actions. Use the extra time to do any romantic repair work or to pick up a passion project that got back-burnered.

Got couple goals? If not, you probably will soon. For almost the entire month, both love planets, Venus and Mars, are in Leo and your tenth house of long-term plans and status. The future of your love life will be on your mind, whether that’s making plans with your longtime bae or pondering the qualities you need in your next partner.

Mars has been in Leo since May 20 and will blaze a fiery trail through this ambitious zone until July 20. You’re on a mission to get what you want, but beware tunnel vision. You or someone else might get a bit too pushy with the “so, where is this thing going?” talk. The tenth house rules career, and with anxious Mars here, you’ll want to be careful not to bring job stress into your relationship.

When Venus parades into Leo and your future-oriented tenth house on June 5 (until October 8), its softening effect will take some of the edge off of Mars. Attached Scorpios could get more serious about what’s next, in both your career and your love life. Singles could meet someone at work or an industry-related event, or an enthusiastic colleague might volunteer to play matchmaker. Couples can have some serious conversations about shared goals and where you both see yourselves one, two and five years down the road.

Venus is making an unusually long trip through Leo (four times the normal span) but there’s a less than stellar reason for this. From July 22 to September 3, Venus will turn retrograde, a backspin that can test even the tightest of ties. You might get a sneak preview of this on June 5, when Venus enters Leo and immediately opposes your ruler, Pluto, which is in Aquarius and your emotional, domestic fourth house. Your work-life balance could be out of whack, or you could discover that family pressure is seeping into your subconscious and stealing some of your happiness.

Root out those old family of origin issues, from limiting beliefs to painful past experiences that are causing you to be gripped by fear. While it’s good to learn from your history, holding it against your current and future mates is just plain unfair…to both of you! While Venus retrograde is a ways off, it’s never too soon to start healing these old patterns.

Another day to watch is June 26, when Mars will duel with volatile Uranus in your relationship house. You could find yourself torn between your own goals and a partner’s, or pressuring yourself to meet an impossible standard, leading to a stressed-out meltdown. What’s really going on? You might be trying to make too many changes at once, Scorpio. Easy does it.

The divine is in the details this month, Scorpio. With the Sun in Gemini and your focused eighth house until June 21, you’ve got the stamina to tackle a project that needs your microscopic attention. These three weeks are also prime for investments, joint ventures and looking into your long-term financial plans.

Your career is a heat zone thanks to activator Mars, which is in Leo and your ambitious tenth house all month from May 20 until July 10. Since last month, you’ve been super-motivated, possibly hustling to reach a tight deadline or launch an exciting project. Put the finishing touches on your master plan or make your grand debut. If you’re overwhelmed, reach out to a mentor or experienced person in your field. You don’t have to figure this out all alone, Scorpio! A leadership opportunity, promotion or well-deserved recognition could bring a crowning moment this month.

Once the Sun enters Cancer on June 21, you’ll have a month of blue-sky dreaming ahead, so carve out time for those visionary projects that are more about passion than practicality. Have you gotten consumed with an office microdrama or burnt out by long hours staring at eight-point typography? Pull yourself out of tunnel vision and shift your settings to wide-angle.
