Abbey Dawn

A singer, songwriter, and musician whose powerful pop songs have connected with millions of fans around the world, Avril Lavigne brings her unique point-of-view to her lifestyle brand Abbey Dawn — a bold, colorful line of rocker chic-influenced clothing and accessories for girls who are confident in their personal style and unafraid to express themselves through fashion. ??Named after a childhood nickname her father gave her, Abbey Dawn was originally inspired by Avril's own closet. A few years ago, she began coming up with ideas for pieces she herself wanted to wear, bringing her daring, adventurous attitude to designs that mix both edgy and feminine details. Avril launched Abbey Dawn in July 2008 as an exclusive with a major U.S. retail chain. In October 2008 she introduced her first retail outlet — an exclusive pop-up shop located near the entrance to the Laforet department store in the fashionable Harajuku shopping district of Tokyo, Japan. The store, which sold clothing and accessories all designed by Avril, as well as her CDs and DVDs, was the best-selling boutique at Laforet during this two month exclusive period. ??The following year, Avril held her first fashion show during New York Fashion Week in September 2009. Models strutted down the runway in Abbey Dawn's metallic-print T-shirts, oversized hoodies, long-sleeved striped skater T's, denim skinny and boyfriend jeans with built-in suspenders, printed leggings, tutus, and plaid mini-skirts to the sounds of Avril's hit songs "Girlfriend" and "Sk8er Boi." Avril is excited that Abbey Dawn is now available internationally! For the first time ever, Avril's fashion-loving fans across the globe can buy Avril-designed clothing, footwear, and accessories in more than 50 countries worldwide via www.abbeydawn.com.

Gretchen Christine
Gretchen Christine Rossi gained instant star status when she joined the cast of Bravo's hit reality series The Real Housewives of Orange County. The blonde bombshell's outgoing personality and upbeat persona quickly made her a fan favorite. After attending college in Texas, the California native of La Cresenta moved back to the Golden State to pursue a career in real estate on the beaches of Orange County. It was there where she was approached by Bravo executives to appear as herself on the ever-so-popular Real Housewives series. As a strong, ambitious, California girl, Gretchen of course set her goals far beyond televisions fame. Following the success of a hit television series, Gretchen launched Gretchen Christine Cosmetics make-up line in 2009, which was followed by the launch of the Gretchen Christine Collection, a handbag line created by Rossi with the modern everyday woman in mind. Both Gretchen Christine brands sold out within just days of their release. Continuing to grow her fashion and beauty empires, Gretchen Christine Cosmetics launched another successful line of tanning products, and she is currently working on a new Pink Croc Collection of travel pieces, which will include a 3 piece overnight luggage set. Gretchen's philanthropic ways helped inspire the Pink Collection when she was honored to do an Ad Campaign for the Breast Cancer Charities of America. The Gretchen Christine Pink Collection will be donating a percentage of sales back to the foundation. In late 2009, Gretchen jumped into the recording studio where she recorded her first single, "Nothing Without You", in memory of her late fiancé, Jeff. In April of 2011, Gretchen released her second single, an electro-dance track titled "Revelation", and performed with the infamous Pussycat Dolls on her first live Las Vegas stage in October of 2011. As an aspiring writer, Gretchen plans to continue in music, where she finds herself most expressive. In 2012, US Weekly named Rossi "Hottest Housewife" in the magazine's "Us Weekly's Hottest" issue.

Pin is one of the most frequently used materials when he makes a dress. When he puts pins through a fabric, he holds his breath and carefully carries a pin on a dress. The countless, meditative and repetitive process has led him to realize that there's no medium like pin that can represent who his as an artist and also express his raw emotion. BlacMéra

Best known for her exquisite and regal couture work, Yuliana Candra of BlacMéra brings lightness, an airy feel, and buoyancy to her Luxury Summer/Resort 2013 Collection that is going to be featured at New York Fashion Week in September. Her collection "FLOW" is inspired by the flow of colors and vigor that transcends across three-dimensions of elements: earth, wind, and fire. Yuliana's use of bold colors and prints once again delivers a strong and playful statement. The collection is elegant and seductive with a touch of dangerous liaison. Think Jackie O and Sophia Loren with a bit of Angelina Jolie – her muses of inspiration.

Growing up in three different continents and having logged an extensive travel diary of over 400 cities and 40 countries, Yuliana is capable of mixing and matching cross-cultural influences effortlessly. Her understated humor is cleverly intertwined for those discriminating observant eyes.

The hand-painted signature fabrics of BlacMéra that are adopted from Yuliana's lifelong travel photographs express brilliant oxymora. Rustic garage doors, crumbling ancient windows, dusty old kaleidoscope, a broken butterfly wing; are among prints depicting subjects of abandon that are transformed into luxurious textile and lavish garments. It is an art of capturing beautiful emotions out of notorious unpleasantness. It is Yuliana's way of seeing beauty with a different lens.

Since its launch in 2010, BlacMéra by Yuliana Candra has been the fashion name to remember. She is daring and different and she has only just begun to tantalize us with her exciting tapestry of design. With the strong support of other designers in the creation of her runway look: Stuart Weitzman, CASHHIMI, and Gemma Redux, this is the show not to be missed by the front rows of New York Fashion Week!

Sweet-talking

A Hazlet, NJ native, Samantha "Sammi Sweetheart" Giancola embodies all things Jersey: fun, passion and enthusiasm. Those close to her describe Sammi as sweet—with an edge—but she plays the role of heartbreaker in the MTV smash hit Jersey Shore, bringing her unique sense of playfulness to the booming reality TV landscape.

Life on the 'Shore'

An original cast member of MTV's highest-rated show ever, Sammi helped launch a cultural phenomenon in late 2009 with her appearance on Jersey Shore and on January 6, 2011 Season 3 of The Jersey Shore premiered to a whopping 8.45 million viewers, and on January 13, 2011 "The Jersey Shore" Season 3 Episode 2 broke another records rating with more viewers than any other MTV show in the network's 30 year history, MTV confirmed. A record-breaking 8.6 million viewers tuned in. Sammi and her cast mates developed a cult-like following, spurring cover stories in such respected publications as Entertainment Weekly, Harper's Bazaar and Newsweek. Barbara Walters listed the cast as one of the "10 most fascinating people of 2010" saying "They are something, I don't know what, but they are something'.

After a hugely entertaining culture clash during Season 4 in Italy and bringing the cast back to Seaside for Season 5, the cast will be back in Seaside yet again for Season 6, which will begin taping later this Spring.

With the success of Jersey Shore, bloggers, reporters and consumers alike have been abuzz across various media platforms with perspectives and musings on Sammi and her fellow Shore stompers, further proving that MTV has certainly struck a chord with its audiences.

Sammi unabashedly brings her carefree intent to have fun to the Jersey Shore family. Her decision to enter the show unattached and ready for adventure has provided a great way for MTV to tap into her eagerness and adaptability and propel its paramount show toward ever-increasing growth. Indeed, the diminutive star makes a big statement.

The picture of health

A sports fan known for her penchant for fitness, Sammi likes to keep healthy—inside and out. In fact, she was a midfielder for the women's soccer team at her alma mater, William Patterson University, and has continued to excel in the world of fitness since. She's a huge baseball and football fan and always finds time to root for her favorites, the New York Yankees and the New York Jets.

Versatile and adaptable, Sammi enjoys toning toward becoming beach-ready—as seen on Jersey Shore—as well as showcasing her elegance in a designer gown—as seen in Harpers' Bazaar. And as in all aspects of her life, Sammi approaches health and fitness with fun and enthusiasm. That enthusiasm has led Sammi to create her own line of fitness wear, debuting later this summer. She also has a line of Swarovski-decked bling cases available for purchase on her site.

Further venturing into the business world and beyond, Sammi is also the face of "Dangerous" perfume, which she describes as "dangerously sweet- just like me," as well as "Dangerous Desires," a lighter, fruitier scent. Both Dangerous and Dangerous Desires are available at Mandee's and dangerousperfume.com.

Sammi is passionate about helping others achieve their best, as well. She makes the mundane magical—and whether it be with a creative fitness routine or with simple eyelash enhancers, Sammi knows how important it is for women to feel beautiful. From daily workouts to the red carpet, she keeps things fresh and exciting.
