- Calcium thioglycolate: This is the primary active ingredient in most hair removal creams. It helps break down the protein structure of the hair, allowing it to be easily removed
- Moisturizers: Look out for products that contain aloe vera, cocoa butter, or vitamin E, as these ingredients help to soothe and hydrate skin, minimizing potential irritation.
